TRADE RESTRICTIONS

In one of our seasons, there were a few super teams being built so we decided to crack down on the situation. As of now, we have limited trades to crack down on potential super teams. A trade counter will also be used to help everyone keep track of their trades. This will be in the rosters page in parentheses by each team.

Each team gets three (3) trades per season. After the “Offseason Draft”, you are allowed to use only one of your three trades. You may use it, if you'd like. However, in order to use all three (3) of your trades you must play 5 games with your roster. Having said that, on the day of the trade deadline, or when a team reaches 14 games played, each team gets one (1) additional trade. This is to encourage a real-life aspect of trades during the trade deadline. Thus, the MAX amount of trades for a team is four (4). The Trade Deadline will occur exactly 3 weeks after the “Offseason Draft”.

After acquiring a player, you must play five (5) games with him before he is eligible to be traded. However, you are allowed to set up a multi-team trade if the owners agree to the trade.

Any trade in and of itself, must have an overall difference of 5 or less and/or be voted on by admin approval. We aren't biased and frankly don't care about your roster, we are just ensuring fair trades are made throughout the league.

Any trade involving an 85+ player, must have a 3 or less overall difference, and the 85+ player acquired cannot be traded until seven (7) games have been played. Furthermore, if a trade involves an 85 for a 90 or something of the sort, there must be a substantial amount of other pieces to ensure the trade is fair. Remember, the admins have the power to disapprove of a trade if it doesn’t fit the restrictions.

IMPORTANT: The last two points are GUIDELINES! Admins will discuss and vote on all trades. With the addition of contracts and draft picks there is going to be a lot more subjectivity in these trades!

NOTE: If a new owner acquires a team with a record that’s established, the new owner is still required to play five games to proceed with trading.
